Using a Bluetooth Earpiece
Tuesday, May 4, 2010
One of the many features of an iPhone is that individuals are able to talk on their iPhone with a wireless earpiece. This most common model of this type of hardware is known as Bluetooth. It operates much like a radio antenna --the Bluetooth transmitter will send out a signal that only your personal earpiece will pick up. This allows you to talk on your iPhone without holding the device in your hand.
To synch your Bluetooth device and your earpiece, a virtual connection has to be initiated and accepted by the host device. Once the connection is made, your earpiece will continue to receive and transmit your conversations as long as the iPhone is within reach of the device.
